Neil & Kaylee: A Richwood on the River outdoor wedding Louisville KY None of us knew what 2020 would bring. For Neil & Kaylee, they got engaged and planned for a beautiful 2020 May wedding. Unfortunately, circumstances forced them to postpone to June, but oh my what the perfect day it was. A Richwood on the […]

Churchill Downs Wedding KY

Hello blogging world! I am back! I’ve taken a few years off to have babies (yes, multiple babies if you didn’t know!), but that’s a whole other blog post. This post is all about Tanner & Celeste and their incredible colorful Churchill Downs wedding day. I see so much of myself and my husband Matt […]

The Gardencourt was the perfect spot for their #Brunetsoi·rée with its incredible architecture, lovely gardens, and old world charm. The history geek in me loves all the historical/vintage venues. Kathryn’s dress literally made me giddy and the fact that she was ecstatic to just twirl and enjoy her dress makes her my kind of gal! Peter gave his groomsmen custom engraved pocket watches, which is one of the neatest groomsmen gifts I’ve seen. The flowers were perfect, the food was tasty, the weather was awesome, and the dancing was on point!

Jon & Amanda have an enchantingly kind quality about them that just poured over into every aspect of their wedding day: the stunning old mansion, lovely flowers, family-filled wedding party, personal touches, and sweet, sweet interactions. It was just a wonderful day that I know I won’t forget anytime soon!

From the moment I met Elliott & Stephanie, I knew their wedding was going to be one to remember! I had so much fun exploring and adventuring through Big Rock Park for their engagements and their wedding was exactly the same! Bowling Green, KY was a nice middle ground for their family and friends at […]

Evans Orchard Georgetown KY Wedding

May 19, 2018 May 19, 2018 may go down in the history books as the day of the official royal wedding of Harry and Meghan, but for a lot of us photographers here in the states, we celebrated our own type of royal weddings! Sam & Jessica’s wedding day was it’s own kind of royal […]

Big Spring Country Club Wedding

May 12, 2017 Ryan & Madalyn kicked off my May wedding season in the most beautiful, classy way last weekend. Big Spring Country Club was such a pretty location for their wedding reception and I loved that they carried on a long-standing family tradition of marrying at Our Lady of the Lourdes. Generations of Madayln’s […]

Spring Buffalo Trace Distillery Engagements

I know I’m not alone when I say I’ve been loving these occasional warm spring/summer-like days! Thankfully, Mike & Brittany had a flexible schedule and we were able to pick the warmest, prettiest day last week for their Buffalo Trace Distillery engagements! The sun was out, the skies were blue, and it was well into […]

Austin & Abbie: Southern Bed & Breakfast Engagements

I know the months of November-March aren’t the most ideal for photos. The grass turns brown, the trees are bare, and of course, it’s generally COLD. But there is just something so lovely about wintertime, even without snow. The light is softer and more flattering because the sun doesn’t get quite as high in the […]

My 28th Birthday

Today I turn 28. !!?!??! Twenty-eight has always seemed so old to me. You are officially closer to 30 than 25 when rounding and you’ve been out of high school for 10 YEARS. Say what?! That blows my mind. I still feel 17 on the inside, and I am always wondering how in the world […]

Behind the Lens: Fading Wedding Memories

With it being the off-season, I’ve had a lot of time to reflect on my business, weddings, and my own wedding. As a wedding photographer, I get asked lots of questions about the decisions I made for my wedding – what I’d change – what advice I would give to other brides-to-be, and I have […]

Life Update: House Progress 2

It’s been a few months since I last updated everyone on our house progress. In my last post in September, we had just completed a week of renovation camp with Matt’s parents and uncle. They helped us do so many things; the majority of which was removing walls and installing two beams. Needless to say, […]
