Evans Orchard Georgetown KY Wedding

May 19, 2018 may go down in the history books as the day of the official royal wedding of Harry and Meghan, but for a lot of us photographers here in the states, we celebrated our own type of royal weddings! Sam & Jessica’s wedding day was it’s own kind of royal complete with beautiful weather (only one short rain shower!), delicious food, excited family and friends, a stunning venue (Evans Orchard in Georgetown KY), lovely decor, and a shared love like a fairytale. Sam & Jessica were both so excited to officially become husband and wife. Their first look was so sweet watching them giggle as they read special vows to each other in the crazy wind.

The ceremony space at Evans Orchard in Georgetown KY for Sam & Jessica’s wedding was incredible. A wooden cross took the place of an arbor center stage of the ceremony, which was such a sweet symbol of their faith. They also tied a cord of three strands which is also a solid symbol of the covenant they were entering with God. The whole day was beautifully curated by Jessica and her family and maids from choosing the reception decor, her mother’s amazing hair styling, and making ALL the bouquets and bouts!

I couldn’t let the post end without mentioning the special family member who did occasionally steal the show… their dog Maya. She was literally THE BEST sport all day and was always in the middle of the action! She definitely made the day extra fun and even got out on the dance floor. By the end of the day, she was all tuckered out, but still couldn’t be away from the action, so she just slept on the dance floor. Hahaha. I loved her presence and definitely encourage any dog parents to share their special day with them!
