Spring Buffalo Trace Distillery Engagements

I know I’m not alone when I say I’ve been loving these occasional warm spring/summer-like days! Thankfully, Mike & Brittany had a flexible schedule and we were able to pick the warmest, prettiest day last week for their Buffalo Trace Distillery engagements! The sun was out, the skies were blue, and it was well into the 70s! We had a great time walking around the grounds. As soon as you step out of the car, you can smell the bourbon fermenting. It’s so sweet! Kind of like bananas! Haha. And this time of year is lovely because of all the flowers and greenery. Buffalo Trace Distillery has wonderful gardens on their grounds that I immediately fell in love with and were perfect for the engagements.

Mike & Brittany were so awesome to get to know! They told me stories of their travels (Japan, Iceland, and Hawaii for their wedding this fall!) and I’ve officially decided they are too cool for me. Haha. I loved learning about their lives, interests, and wedding plans. Also, did I mention Brittany wore the most incredible dress? Brides, if you want an easy way to my heart, wear a long, flowy dress… but then if you make it purple we’ll be bffs forever. She totally rocked that dress. I also loved the custom sign they had made for their home. How amazing! And how awesome of a last name too?! From a Johnson… I am a little jealous. 😉

I could go on and on about these two and how I so enjoyed our time together and being back behind the camera, but I’ll let these pictures speak for themselves. I just love their smiles!
