The gardens at Whitehall Mansion are one of the loveliest wedding venues in Louisville and I’m so honored to have captured Jared & Caroline’s wedding day there last June. Happy anniversary, you two! From the moment I talked with Caroline, her personality shined right through the phone. She is so kind, vibrant, and makes you […]

Neil & Kaylee: A Richwood on the River outdoor wedding Louisville KY None of us knew what 2020 would bring. For Neil & Kaylee, they got engaged and planned for a beautiful 2020 May wedding. Unfortunately, circumstances forced them to postpone to June, but oh my what the perfect day it was. A Richwood on the […]

Churchill Downs Wedding KY

Hello blogging world! I am back! I’ve taken a few years off to have babies (yes, multiple babies if you didn’t know!), but that’s a whole other blog post. This post is all about Tanner & Celeste and their incredible colorful Churchill Downs wedding day. I see so much of myself and my husband Matt […]

The Gardencourt was the perfect spot for their #Brunetsoi·rée with its incredible architecture, lovely gardens, and old world charm. The history geek in me loves all the historical/vintage venues. Kathryn’s dress literally made me giddy and the fact that she was ecstatic to just twirl and enjoy her dress makes her my kind of gal! Peter gave his groomsmen custom engraved pocket watches, which is one of the neatest groomsmen gifts I’ve seen. The flowers were perfect, the food was tasty, the weather was awesome, and the dancing was on point!

Jon & Amanda have an enchantingly kind quality about them that just poured over into every aspect of their wedding day: the stunning old mansion, lovely flowers, family-filled wedding party, personal touches, and sweet, sweet interactions. It was just a wonderful day that I know I won’t forget anytime soon!

Yew Dell Botanical Gardens Wedding

One of my favorite moments was the ring barer helping carry the brides dress down the aisle. I’m still not sure if he was supposed to do that, but it was so sweet.

Peterson Dumesnil House Wedding

Caleb & Aline: Peterson Dumesnil House Wedding I had the amazing opportunity to photograph this spring wedding at the historic Peterson Dumesnil House. Matt attends seminary in Crescent Hill and I’ve driven along the block next to this house hundreds of times and yet this quaint, historic home sat just up a hill off a […]

Portland Maine Anniversary Trip

Since having kids, it’s been harder for Matt and I to get away for anniversary trips. We really wanted to do something special for our 10 year anniversary, so with the help of Matt’s parents taking care of the girls, we were able to travel to New England! It was so hard narrowing down exactly […]

Kentucky Horse Farm Wedding

Kentucky Horse Farm Wedding The weather is mentioned so much on my blog, but it plays a huge factor in weddings and sessions! But in all my years, I’ve never had weather like this. On September 21 I had my kids outside in bathing suits playing in a sprinkler. The next day, fall equinox, we […]

Summer Horse Farm Engagements

Anyone in Kentucky knows the weather this summer has been crazy, so when I met Kyle & Christian at their local horse farm for their engagements, I didn’t totally know what to expect. Rain, ridiculously hot temperatures, it’s always a mixed bag. But not this day! It was literally perfect. Not too hot and full […]

The Olmsted Louisville KY

Jake & Emma: Fall Olmsted Louisville KY Wedding After having kids, so much of my business changed and blogging was an unfortunate casualty. I’m now finally getting back into it and I’m sharing some of my older weddings. These days were just as beautiful as others. My sweet, adorable *cough cough* needy children though have […]

Classic Blush Spring Wedding

Background A classic, blush spring wedding? Yes, please! To add to the excitement, this wedding was for a dear friend. When Matt and I first moved to Louisville, Mark was one of the first people we met. He was interested in joining the same church, was a seminarian, and had a background in engineering. Needless […]
