This session may win all of the sessions I’ve ever had for most fun. I’ve known Rachel for over 10 years, what?!? Crazy. We met very early on at Virginia Tech in the Marching Virginians. Go Hokies!! She’s one of my people and I love her dearly. When she told me about Truman and that she wanted me to photograph her wedding before they were even engaged, I said an immediate YES. I was waiting for the day when Truman proposed so we could officially plan all the fun things. Their Ponce City Market engagements was first on the list!
Not only do I love Truman and Rachel, but for this session, I got to fly SOLO to Atlanta for 24 hours and wow, what a treat! It may not seem like it, but it was so relaxing. I got to have hours alone at the airport and a whole night with no baby monitor. It was incredible. Let alone actually getting to create some super fun and beautiful photos for Truman and Rachel. We also went out to dinner (and ice cream!) afterwards and it was just a total joy.
Here are a few of my favorites from our afternoon together. We had beautiful weather and such a fun time. Truman and Rachel threw all kinds of fun poses at me and I just loved it! When couples make photos their own, I absolutely love it! Photos are supposed to be a reflection of the couple and I LOVE all the personality. I can’t wait for their wedding THIS WEEKEND!!
