I had the amazing opportunity to photograph this spring wedding at the historic Peterson Dumesnil House. Matt attends seminary in Crescent Hill and I’ve driven along the block next to this house hundreds of times and yet this quaint, historic home sat just up a hill off a cobble stone street, and I never knew it.
I could go on and on about how lovely this home is: the stunning architecture, the neutral colors, the grounds. I joked that if I could retroactively get married again, it’d be here. Seriously, so beautiful!
The whole day was wonderful. Anytime I get to work with the now retired Kirsten Butler Photography, I have a great time. Caleb & Aline were so sweet and they celebrated with their incredible families. They had a sweet first look and I loved their portrait time. Aline’s bouquet was full of colorful spring flowers. It was amazing! The reception was also super fun. Their band was so great and I loved their rendition of “Valerie.” C & A also had a great first dance to “You Make Me Feel Like Dancing.”
I really hope to go back to the Peterson Dumesnil House for another wedding one day and soon! It’s a perfect spot for a wedding! But for now, enjoy these photos from my time second shooting with Kirsten Butler Photography.
