I’ve never really been a very goal-oriented person, despite as much as I’ve tried! It’s such a stretch for me. So when it comes to features, I just make it a part of my workflow to submit engagements and weddings pretty regularly. But it’s always been a dream to be published in a magazine. Last year, I had one image accepted into Southern Weddings Magazine, which was amazing! But I knew there was always an opportunity for more.

After Paul & Ali’s engagement session, I knew it was something special! So I kept it in my back pocket for the right publication.

 

Kentucky Bride Magazine is the premier magazine in Kentucky for Kentucky brides. I knew it would be a perfect fit for them! And lo and behold they agreed! They told me the session had been selected as part of the engagement ideas section of the magazine, but other than that I wasn’t sure what it would look like or how many images/pages it would be.

 

When my magazine came in the mail, I was SO excited to see what the feature looked like! And I was blown away, KBM gave Paul & Ali’s session THREE FULL PAGES! AHHHHHHH!! So exciting!

 

I’m surprised because this is my work. But I’m also not surprised because Paul and Ali made their session so special. And Penny may or may not have stolen the spotlight too. Haha. Everything just perfectly came together with the weather, their details, and just how perfectly in love Paul & Ali are. It was the perfect storm and I’m SO thankful they chose me to capture it all. Thanks, Paul & Ali! <3
