Earlier this year, I was able to explore a small part of Louisville with a friend from church as we visited Big Rock Park as part of the larger Seneca Park. I loved my time there taking in the natural beauty of Beargrass Creek and I thought to myself, I would love to photograph a couple here. Well a few months later enter Elliott and Stephanie! They are natives to Louisville and had a really fun date eating a picnic lunch on the “big rock” so they thought it would be a fun place for their engagement session. And I love that! Your engagement pictures are already special, but hold even more meaning when you are able to take them at a place that is significant to you.
Elliott, Stephanie, and I spent our Saturday morning playing with their two dogs, watching the ducks splash in the water, climbing trees and rocks, walking across slippery wet rocks, and hearing a man take a crazy tumble on his bike. But he was ok! Haha. It was a lot of fun (minus the guy on the bike part). Elliott and Stephanie laughed a lot and told me great tales of Stephanie’s veterinary experiences. I am so excited for their wedding next week and can’t wait to see them again! Also, Stephanie in this floral maxi equals all the heart eyes. And Elliott, you looked very nice too. 🙂 I was just extra impressed that Stephanie climbed and descended a massive rock in a dress with the help of Elliott. If you scroll all the way to the bottom, you’ll see the progression of the descent that I found very comical, haha. It’s just too good.
The great descent:
Success! My own personal caption “I did it!” 🙂
