George & Caitlin: Bright Lynchburg Grace Church Wedding

This wedding was so special to me. As I wrote in their engagement session post, George and I go all the way back to high school, but we also both went to Virginia Tech where we became better friends. So much so that George felt like an older brother.

At George & Caitlin’s engagement session, I immediately fell in love with Caitlin. She is seriously the perfect match for George and I loved getting to know her throughout this whole process! Their wedding day was so bright and fun. Despite the chance of rain, the sun peeked through the clouds a few times. And even when it did rain, the Lord provided an incredible rainbow!

Caitlin put so much effort into the different elements of their wedding day. I adored her Kate Spade Keds and the DIYed Virginia Tech bouts. Caitlin with the help of her family did all the flowers and cloth accents for the reception. She and George even thrifted all of the glasses on the reception tables to serve as their wedding favor. They also thrifted dessert plates to serve the cake! On each table there were also games for guests to play and places to leave notes for the happy couple. A photo booth, memorial table, and gift table just added to the decor and feel. I was so impressed! They had a gorgeous space, a lively crowd, and delicious food! Whoever made the strawberry lemonade sprite punch is my new best friend. It was awesome. Haha.

I loved not only being able to attend this wedding, but to play such a crucial role. What an honor. George & Caitlin, thank you from the bottom of my heart for letting me be your wedding photographer. I love you guys and hope you had an incredible time in Tennessee!
