Anytime a couple suggests a garden for their engagement session, the answer is always yes! Kanishka and Lauren’s stylish garden engagement session in Colonial Williamsburg was so much fun.

You definitely couldn’t tell that it was super hot because these two were so kind and sweet together. The way Kanishka is such a gentleman, to everyone really, but especially to Lauren, was so refreshing. They laugh together, dance together, run together, and just seem to enjoy life together.

And on top of being incredible human beings, they’re adorable. I am obsessed with Lauren’s white tea-length dress with delicate blue florals, and Kanishka looked incredibly handsome in his pastel blue sport coat. Their outfits were perfect for an afternoon in the gardens, and I love how beautifully they came together with all the colors and textures around them.

There is just something special about dressing for the occasion. An engagement session in a beautiful garden feels like an opportunity to make an afternoon of it, get a little dressed up, and celebrate this season of life together. These two absolutely understood the assignment.
