Josh & Jessica: Lost River Cave Fall Wedding

From the moment Josh & Jessica booked last year, I fell in love with them as a couple. They are two of the kindest and sweetest people. Every time we chatted, I felt like I was talking with old friends. We talked kids, home renovations, food, family, all the things! I adored meeting their children and seeing what my future may look like, haha. It was so unique and sweet to watch them watch their parents get married.

October weddings can totally be hit or miss. It can be a beautiful, cool fall day or it can feel like July! Josh & Jessica hit the jackpot with October 16, 2021. It was the perfect fall day! With a high of 63 degrees, it was so comfortable outside at their incredible venue. The Lost River Cave is one of the coolest venues in the US. You literally have your wedding reception in a cave next to a river. SO COOL! I’ve had the opportunity to photograph a wedding here before and, other than the 2 hour drive, I love it!

These are just a few moments from their day. Their first look is one of my favorites. I don’t think I’ve ever done a first look in dreamier light. The photos of Josh & Jessica with their kids melt my mama heart a little. So, so sweet. And of course, the cave is always a show-stopper. J & J (but really Jessica as they joked in the ceremony) created so many beautiful decorations for their big day. She is SO talented!
