Here in Louisville, June was SO rainy. The week of Conard & Natalie’s wedding it rained every day except their wedding day! What a blessing! It was a beautiful day for their Gheens Foundation Lodge Louisville, KY wedding. It was definitely warm and Conard and his groomsmen (+ the man of honor) were all such troopers staying outside for photos in the heat. But it was well worth it!
Conard & Natalie started dating in high school, so this wedding was a long time coming for them. It was so sweet seeing their excitement for this day after being together for over a decade. I heard such incredible stories from their first date to their proposal. It was so evident that these two were meant to be. <3 I loved it! It was especially sweet because I have the honor of living next to Natalie’s mother! They are the sweetest neighbors, so it’s easy to see how the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. I even told Natalie during her bridal portrait time that I saw so much of her mom in her. Also, I’m so excited Conard & Natalie are moving back to the area and I hope they frequent our neighborhood often. They are so kind and also hilarious. Those are my kind of people!
Enjoy a few of my favorites from their day at the Gheens Foundation Lodge here in Louisville. The Beckley Creek area is SO beautiful! We hope to explore the park more with the girls. And you can totally see why from these photos. The little overgrown garden next to the lodge? Amazing! Also, I adore purple, so you can see I went a little heavy with the purple details. But I mean, purple! I love it!
