Ben & Hannah: Madigan’s Waterfront Occoquan Wedding

I am going to try to write this post without using too many exclamation points, but I just don’t know if it’s possible (I’m trying so hard not to end this sentence with one!… opps… haha.). But I am so very excited to share this wedding with you!

As I said last year when I had the privilege to photograph Drew & Jordan’s wedding, I absolutely love this family! The Amedicks are some of my favorite people in the whole world and I have been given the honor now to photograph two family weddings! This time, Ben became the newest family member (even though he really already was) and it was such a joyful, sweet time. Ben & Hannah’s wedding day was beautiful, despite the quick rain shower just as guests began arriving for the ceremony. The dark clouds made for some awesome photos and the rain cooled off the temperature a bit.

Hannah had the most beautiful bouquet which was actually made by a family friend! But I’m slightly partial to sunflowers since I had them in my bouquet too. 🙂 And the navy blue bridesmaids dresses were the perfect backdrop for them. But, I think I spent most of the details portion of the day photographing Hannah’s shoes. Those were so gorgeous! I heard they weren’t super comfortable… but that doesn’t stop me from wanting a pair of my own! Haha.

Other than all of the beautiful curated details, the whole day was a beautiful and emotional testament to two families becoming one and two individuals becoming one in Christ. The faith of these two families is something I so dearly admire. The prayers that were poured over Ben & Hannah’s marriage as well as those in attendance, brought tears to my eyes. I can think of no other perfect way to begin a marriage.

Alright, I think I did ok with my exclamation mark quota… haha! Now, enjoy reliving their day through some of my favorites from the day!
