Falls of the Ohio Engagement Session

Weddings definitely steal a lot of the show in the photography world, but sometimes engagement sessions do too and that’s this one. First, Josh, Jessica, and their two kids drove 2 hours bright and early to meet me for a morning session. How amazing are they?! But it was well worth it! The location of Falls of the Ohio combined with how absolutely sweet Josh & Jessica are together makes this one of my favorite engagement sessions. I loved getting to know them (and their kids!) and finding sturdy rocks to stand on our way down to some of the fossil beds. I’ve been to the falls a few times and this was the lowest I’ve ever seen the water (which isn’t saying much) so we got to explore a little more.

Jessica’s outfits were gorgeous and I am such a sucker for a good hat. I don’t have the head shape for a hat, but Jessica does and knocks it out of the park. So, so pretty! I cannot wait for their wedding in just over a month!! Enjoy these photos from our morning together. Thank you Josh & Jessica for traveling to Louisville and for coming in the morning!
