As I was beginning this wedding day and photographing the details, I noticed something. Kellsy left no detail untouched. She put her and Tommy’s stamp on each and every element of this beautiful, joyful, unique day. We joked with Tommy that he was great at wedding planning. But in all seriousness, Kellsy curated an absolutely stunning day. The two of them are so sweet together. You can just feel their love for each other. Their friends and family echoed the same sentiment during the ceremony and toasts. Tommy & Kellsy are fiercely loved and they fiercely love back. They are such kind, generous people. I’m honored to have met and worked with them. <3 I’d be remiss to not mention their sweet fur babies Lola and Max. I adore when couples bring their pets to their weddings and have them be a part of the festivities!
Their colors of burgundy, navy, gold, and blush were a stunning palate for the whole day against the lovely neutral and white backdrop of The Pointe in Butchertown Louisville, KY. The bridesmaids wore burgundy dresses that blew perfectly in the breeze on a September day that actually felt like fall! Kellsy’s dress made her feel like a princess and she had 4 bridesmaids assisting her. It looked like Cinderella with her mice (really super cute mice) helping her get ready for the ball. What amazing friends and sisters! The reception was full of children who were was A BLAST. I know kids get a bad rep at receptions, but these kids brought life and hilarity to the dance floor. They even had a kids buffet with mac n cheese, chicken nuggets, and fruit which I thought was brilliant! The whole day was lovely and I am so excited to share these images with you. These detail shots are some of my favorites.
