Kentucky Horse Farm Wedding

Kentucky Horse Farm Wedding

The weather is mentioned so much on my blog, but it plays a huge factor in weddings and sessions! But in all my years, I’ve never had weather like this. On September 21 I had my kids outside in bathing suits playing in a sprinkler. The next day, fall equinox, we were in jeans and sweaters with 70 degree highs. What? That has never happened before, but honestly, I love it. And it was just in time for this absolutely lovely Kentucky Horse Farm Wedding at AllDay Arena in Simpsonville, KY. Kyle & Christian’s engagement session at the farm was so beautiful and fun with all their animals and the perfectly Kentucky setting. Their wedding was no different!

As I mentioned before, we had amazing fall weather for this day. It sprinkled a little bit in the morning hours which was just enough to add good luck to the day. 🙂 Kyle & Christian planned a nontraditional wedding that was SUPER FUN. They held a small ceremony outside the barn with a few family and friends. But then had a big, fun party for their friends afterward complete with food trucks, flowing drinks, bouncy houses, bowling, kickball, connect four, and more. It was such a unique experience and I am honored to be a part of it.

If you’re a regular blog reader, you know I can ramble, so I’m going to stop here and let the photos do the talking. A few highlights though”

  • The flower girls were adorable and I probably took way too many photos of them. What can I say? My mom heart loves the little girls. <3
  • ALL THE ANIMALS. Dogs, horses, butterflies.
  • Christian’s dress and the getting ready photos. We find spots with good light for getting ready photos and wow this front entry was perfect.
  • THE BOUQUET. Does it get any more perfect than this for a fall bouquet? Nanz & Kraft knocked it out of the park!
  • The wedding activities. I loved watching people have fun in a different way than dancing!

Alright, for the sake of brevity, I’ll stop there. As promised, here are the photos!
