Ever since Michele got engaged in June, we have been talking and planning her and John’s engagement session. We discussed locations, outfits, and dates. All of which changed multiple times, haha. But what we ended up with was absolutely fantastic!
A few weeks ago, we decided to shoot at Fort Monroe! I had only been there once, but I remember it being really neat, so I was really excited to visit there again. We also decided to do a sunrise session!! I had never shot at sunrise before, but I have to say I LOVED it. I definitely want to do it again!
The location, the light, the people: I loved everything about this engagement session! Michele is absolutely gorgeous and watching her and John together makes me so happy.
This is a post of many photos because I have way too many favorites!
While we were waiting for the sun to peek above the horizon, we watched the cargo ships pass by.
Once we started, this was our very first shot photo bombed by the seagull! Love it!
So Michele has a killer model face. I am going to have SO much fun doing bridals of you!!
Loving these ring shots. Definitely something I’ve been working on!
Another favorite! Like straight out of a movie.
Absolutely love this one! The lines, the love. Ah!
Favorite! I love how happy they make each other!
Then they changed into their VT outfits! Go Hokies!
John & Michele, thank you so much for meeting me at the crack of dawn (literally!). I loved spending time with you and can’t wait for your wedding in a few weeks!
