I just love taking pictures of friends. But I especially love taking pictures of two friends in love and full of laughter on their wedding day.
I had the wonderful opportunity to second shoot this friends wedding with my good friend
back in June! What an honor and blessing! To see her full post, check out her awesome
Matt and I met Micah at Virginia Tech and that friendship continued post-graduation thanks to both Matt and Micah working at Newport News Shipbuilding! I remember the weekend Micah was planning to propose to Krystyna. Matt and I had visited my grandparents and were in the driveway about to leave when Matt got an excited phone call saying that she said “yes!” We were so overjoyed for these two friends!
It was a wonderful day full of friends, family, love, and laughter. I mean, could these two look any happier?! Enjoy lots of my favorites!
These shoes were gorgeous!
And I kind of couldn’t stop taking pictures of her bouquet. Lovely daisies!
Krystyna has two little nieces who are completely adorable. They were there with all the bridesmaids getting ready. Just precious.
Can you believe they are all sisters? How awesome!!
I love this picture.
Micah and Krystyna didn’t want to see each other before the ceremony, but did want to take a moment to talk with one another and say pray together. This was just so sweet with tears all around from the bride, groom, and photographers!
Then it was bridal party portrait time. I love watching close friends and family interact with each other on such a happy occasion.
I’m kind of in love with this picture.
Again, loving these bouquets.
Micah and Krystyna did a little something different. They didn’t have a lot of time between the ceremony and reception, so they chose to do portraits AFTER the wedding! Dani GENIUS to set that up in their timeline!! So different, but super awesome because we were able to go to a beautiful location with gorgeous sunset light. Just wait for the end of this post.
But we did have a few minutes for portraits before their introduction.
Loving all the laughter!
Reception and party time! These two like to dance! If I remember correctly, Micah danced a little on stage at the Virginia Tech engineering graduation ceremony in front of thousands of people… haha.
This. Just this. So sweet.
I loved this idea for a guest book! Have a Bible for guests to sign and write notes near helpful and favorite scripture. What a keepsake!
Now for an overload of beautiful portraits. This light and their joy. Oh. my. goodness.
This is adorable.
Krystyna, you were stunning. That veil and blusher were AMAZING in this light!
Dani in action!
This is a total favorite! These magnolia tress. *swoon*
Micah and Krystyna had a friend lend them this Porche for their get-away so we had to take some pictures with it! So fun!
Micah and Krystyna, thank you so much for letting me be a part of capturing your wedding day. It was a joy to witness and capture it!
Dani, thank you for trusting me to be your second shooter! I’m so thankful for the friendship we’ve developed both behind and without the camera!
