Michael & Sarah: Rose Hill Plantation Wedding Nashville NC

Ohhh you guys. You guys. I have been excitedly anticipating this wedding since I met with Sarah back in early 2015. That coupled with the excitement of my first wedding of the year just sent this one out of the park. It was GORGEOUS.

We had an incredible day. The sun was shining, flowers blooming, and smiles all around. I immediately fell in love with their venue as I drove up the driveway. A beautiful, old plantation house surrounded by woods, fields, and a quaint little pond. It was so picturesque. But it didn’t stop there. All of the rooms were beautiful with white walls, hardwood floors, antique furniture, and WINDOWS. I mean seriously, it was a photographer’s playground (Though was maze-like and I may have gotten turned around a few times, haha. Small price to pay for such beauty!).

And just as I saw in their engagement session, Michael and Sarah were so excited to be husband and wife. They had been planning this day for a year and could hardly believe it had finally come! I loved watching them together, again, as they just fell into each other’s arms perfectly kissing foreheads, laughing, it was all so natural and beautiful.

I could keep raving and raving around this wedding, the joyous families, the epic party, and all the lovely, southern details, but I’ll let the photos speak for me instead.

I’ll start with one of my new favorite dress shots to-date! That armoire was made for her dress!

The Rose Hill Plantation was the perfect backdrop for all these classic bridal details too. Look at those Kate Spade heels!

I don’t usually get to do groomsmen details, but I loved what the florist put on Michael’s boutonniere!

And I may be partial because I LOVE purple, but these bouts were so classy and awesome too!

Was this not the perfect spot? I try to stay away from dabbled light, but this worked beautifully!

Purple bridesmaid dresses! Sarah has excellent taste!

Michael looked quite handsome too!

This photo just makes me stop in my tracks. So, so lovely.

These two ROCKED at portraits.

The hall at Rose Hill Plantation looked so elegant with the chandeliers.

Then we snuck away for a few minutes for sunset portraits. I absolutely love it when my couples make time for these and you can easily see why. That light.

And a new favorite exit shot! LOVE the dip!

A special thank you to the vendor team for making this day oh so lovely:
