This was another busy weekend for me!
1. Matt and I started our weekend by attending a marriage seminar our church was hosting. We were going through “The Art of Marriage.” It was really nice to be reminded of God’s goodness, faithfulness, and design for marriage. I told Matt this weekend that if we remembered this on a more consistent basis we would be more patient with each other! Haha. But I’m incredibly thankful for Matt and our marriage! I couldn’t imagine my life without him. I love you, husband. 🙂
2. I had the opportunity to third shoot with
on Saturday! The venue was absolutely beautiful, as you can tell from the photo above. It was a lot of fun and I feel like I’m learning a TON this year. Yay!
3. And this is the BIG news of the weekend. I purchased another piece of gear: the 85mm 1.8G. I am SO excited for this one! I rented it a few weeks ago when I was second shooting for
and just fell in love with the lens compression and focal length. It’s supposed to arrive in 2 days!!!! I can hardly wait. This will probably become my absolute favorite lens for portraits.
I am currently working on editing pictures from the last 2 weddings I shot with both Karen and Dani. One of those will be on the blog next week! Definitely be sure to lookout for these beautiful spring weddings! I’m excited to share my images with you.
Have a great week!
