The days are getting longer and sunset is now after 7:30 and I am loving it for engagement sessions! We’ve been blessed with lots of sunshine this spring and it has made for some amazing light. Last Saturday was no different!
Simon, Hannah, and I had a gorgeous evening. We strolled the streets in Richmond and soaked up the sun’s golden rays while reminiscing over high school. Hannah and I went to school together from elementary years to high school! We were on the same little league basketball team, were in band together, had yearbook together, and went to Governor’s School together! It always makes my heart glad to reconnect with someone who just gets memories and stories from high school. I’ll often tell Matt or other friends stories, but it just doesn’t hold the same weight as it does to someone who was actually there. I loved catching up with Hannah! But more importantly, I loved watching her with the love of her life. Simon and Hannah are so sweet together. They laughed and goofed off, but also cuddled and talked sweetly to each other. Have I said how much I loved it?
Hannah just moved to Richmond and has thoroughly been enjoying her time there. Simon was coming to visit before his move to California for military training, and they knew they wanted to use part of that time doing their engagement session. Libby Hill park was new to all of us, but it ended up being perfect. Not only was it quaint with the cobblestone streets, iron gates, and scenic overlook, but it was decorated with American flags which went perfectly with Simon’s uniform.
Enjoy this peak into our time together. Hannah rocked some awesome shoes and they both hold each other so sweetly!
