Tristan & Lauren : Elegant Parisian Inspired Wedding

From the moment Lauren emailed me, I knew this would be an incredible day. Lauren is living the dream. Not only is she living and working abroad in Luxembourg, but she met her husband in Paris. A small town American girl majoring in French and moving overseas meeting a French man and falling in love… so romantic!

They married in Paris with a civil ceremony this summer, but planned an elegant, traditional affair here in the States for all their family and friends to celebrate. They chose to have their reception at the VMFA Pauley Center which combines beautiful French and American architecture, and even Parisian street scenes painted in the dining room.

In the spirit of a traditional wedding combining French and American cultures they had their ceremony at St. Marks Episcopal Church where their priest from Luxembourg performed the ceremony (in both French and English) and guests wore fun hats. The hats may have been my favorite part and wish I had worn one too!

I absolutely loved  listening to Tristan’s family speak. It was so cool for this little American gal. Haha. The flower girl definitely won me over with her sweet petite voice and French accent. It was such a fun, joyful day and I am so honored to have been a part of it!

Congratulations, Tristan & Lauren! Enjoy lots of my favorites from your lovely day!
