I am so in love with the photos from this session.
One reason is because I love the two people in them. Curt and Michelle are old friends from college (when did I get old enough to have “old friends from college”?!?!). Michelle was my roommate on campus when we lived right on the drillfield hearing the Corp of Cadets shoot off their canon every Saturday morning. I have so many fond memories of our time in East Campbell. I was also given the honor to be a bridesmaid at their wedding. It was absolutely beautiful and their dip kiss inspired Matt and I to do one at our wedding too!
Second is that this is the first real session I’ve had with my new camera! I am loving the huge difference I’m seeing in the images. I still have a lot to learn and practice, but it’s a great start!
These photos show the absolutely adorable and sweet love Curt and Michelle have for each other. They were precious. I am so thankful God brought them into our lives. Their friendship means so much!
We started our session at the Williamsburg Inn. It was so pretty and the perfect location on our chilly February day.
How gorgeous?! LOVE this one! Favorite!
I have a beautiful friend!
Michelle very graciously gave Curt her hat. He very much appreciated it. Haha.
Then we moved to a new location on Lake Matoaka just as the sun was setting.
Ahhh! I would call this a “money shot” for me!
Upon asking them to sit Indian style facing each other, they both immediately went into a yoga/meditation pose. Haha. Love them!
This is just lovely!
I’ve been trying to “work the scene” as taught by
and I was able to make this image. Definitely a favorite!
We had such a wonderful afternoon with Curt and Michelle!
Curt and Michelle, we love you both so much and can’t wait to share some
doughnuts in the near future! 🙂
