About the Lifestyle Blog

My day job is a wedding photographer, but my life consists of so much more than weddings. Here on my lifestyle blog, you’ll learn a lot more about me personally away from the camera. I love Jesus, being a wife, crafting, cooking, growing things, and so much more. I’ll document my heart here and I’m glad you’re along for the ride.

March 21-24 Weekend Recap

This weekend was a lot of fun and full of lots of different activities!

1. It started on the beach! The ladies from our church had a women’s retreat. We rented a beach house and just had a very relaxing few days with lots of fellowship, laughs, food, scenery, and Bible study. I very much enjoyed getting to spend a few days getting to know the other women in the church.

2. Last fall, we were blessed to have a new couple start attending our church! We’ve really enjoyed getting to know them, and I was honored to be asked to shoot a mini family session for them on Saturday. Again, we were on the beach! More of their family coming next week!

3. One of the fun things I’ve really enjoyed about being married is being able to hang out with my new family! It’s been so fun getting to “triple date” with Matt’s parents, sister, and her husband. Last night, we went to dinner and then saw the Lego Movie. It was actually really cute. And dinner was delicious!

My weekends are going to get really busy from here on out. I will be assisting with lots of weddings this spring and I’m really excited for it! I cannot thank

Karen

and

Dani

enough for letting me shadow and third shoot with them. I know I’m going to learn a lot and I can’t wait!!
