Do you ever have those weekends that are a little busy, but also incredibly relaxing? That was totally my weekend and I can’t wait to share it with you! The recap:
I started off my weekend on Friday traveling to Richmond. I met up with one of my incredibly sweet 2015 KJP couples for their engagement session at the Lewis-Ginter Botanical Gardens! It’s also the location of their wedding and I cannot be more excited to see them become husband and wife there in July!
Saturday morning started with eating delicious donuts with friends (because donuts are a TREAT in this house so it’s absolutely worth mentioning!). Then we went strawberry picking! There’s a local place, Oliver Farms, right here in Carrollton that has a great strawberry patch with delicious berries. We got over 24 cups worth of strawberries out of that basket and they’re delicious! We’ve made a pretty big dent in them… we may have to go back!
Saturday evening was spent with another one of my wonderful 2015 couples. I met up with them at Fort Monroe for their engagement session and we could not have asked for a more beautiful evening! Even the sunset on the drive home was gorgeous.
Not pictured: Sunday was Mother’s Day, but both of Matt and I mothers were with their moms! So we didn’t get a chance to see them. We, of course, called them and spent some time catching up yesterday afternoon. But overall our mother’s day was very relaxing spent at home eating strawberries and watching Youtube.
This was the perfect weekend for me as next weekend marks the beginning of busy season! My next “free” weekend won’t be until the middle of June! But that’s totally ok because I love my job and cannot wait to see so many of my lovely clients tie the knot and become husband and wife because really, that’s what it’s all about!
Now because I did have a busy weekend, I’ll leave you with a few sneak peeks!
Eric & Sandy’s amazing botanical garden engagements!
And Cade & Diana’s lovely Fort Monroe engagements!
I can hardly wait to share more!! Have a great Monday, friends!
