This was another weekend spent traveling and photographing! Matt and I traveled to western Virginia this weekend to do some
engagement sessions and see my family. I love that side of Virginia,
especially this time of year. The weather was perfectly chilly for the
first weekend in October and I was able to break out my boots and
scarfs. How lovely!
Saturday I traveled to Roanoke for an engagement session. I stopped by downtown to visit my grandma. It was so nice seeing her! And I’ve always loved the Roanoke skyline. Oh, the fond memories I have of that city.
Saturday was also special because after their engagement session, Debra and Brandon took me out to breakfast. How sweet of them! I loved getting to catch up with Debra and get to know Brandon. Plus, the food was fantastic! This strawberries and cream waffle was delicious!
You know how in every town there’s a little hidden gem? Well for me, Lake Lanier is one of those for Martinsville. I just think that little area of Martinsville is so cute and quaint! So when Greg and Sarah Beth said they wanted to do their engagement session there, I was super excited! It has so much simplistic beauty.
Now for a few sneak peeks of the engagement sessions I mentioned before!!
Brandon and Debra were awesome meeting me at the crack of dawn for their sunrise engagement session at Green Hill Park! I’m so thankful we were able to finish up before the Zombie Run! Haha. And thank you both for being so incredibly sweet!
Greg and Sarah Beth’s Lake Lanier engagement session has me swooning over fall and boats. Do you see what I mean? How adorable are they?! I loved spending time with them and walking (a lot!) around the lake! Thanks you two for braving the chilly wind and all my walking.
Last weekend was a great start to October: weather, travels, sessions,
and all! I’m so excited for the leaves to officially change and fall. Oh
autumn, how I love you.
