Do you ever have those days where you just struggle to muster up even a tiny ounce of motivation? I feel like that’s been my week.
I don’t know if it’s the short work-week, the massive project we undertook last weekend, the frigidly cold temperatures, or my slight not-feeling-well-ness. Nonetheless, it’s just been one of those weeks.
As I just briefly mentioned, our house has seen lots of change over the last few weeks. We’ve painted our kitchen and living room/dining room! These two projects have been on our to-do list for a while and I’m very excited the room-painting is complete.
Here’s a peek at just how massive this project was. Our living room/dining room has a lot of wall-space. It took nearly 2 full days, 2 gallons of paint, 3 rolls of tape, and a lot of Matt’s arm strength and painting precision. I’m so thankful Matt is willing to take on projects like this and that he’s such a perfectionist, even if I don’t show appreciation for it all the time. I love you, Matt! Thank you!!
The gray is looking great! I’m so excited to see how our living room will transform as we finish decorating!
While the end product is fantastic, getting there is definitely a battle! Our living room was an absolute mess while we were painting. Thankfully everything is back in its place and we can freely walk around again!
We have several more living room projects that include furniture painting, wood staining, and decorating. It will be so neat to see the transformation in a few more months! I’ll be sure to share as we complete them.
I hope you’re having a great week and enjoying the left-over snow!
